The most impressive airports in the world
The giant Daxing Airport, built in the shape of a starfish, impresses with its huge size. Currently, 4 runways are open (in the future, their number may increase to 7) and a huge terminal building with an area of 700,000 m². According to some estimates, the Chinese government paid about $17.47 billion for this colossal project.
Changi Airport, Singapore
Changi Airport is the concentration of all the features of Singapore, which is famous for its unique architecture and stunning gardens, being the best airport in the world. In Changi, you can swim in the rooftop pool, see a light show and a 40-meter waterfall, and take a walk in tropical gardens.
Incheon Airport, South Korea
The huge airport complex is considered one of the most comfortable in the world with an annual capacity of 42 million people. The multifunctional Incheon Airport has lounges, entire hotels of different price categories, free showers, a huge garden, a golf course and even a casino.
Schiphol Airport, Holland
The main feature of this airport is its location, as in just 15 minutes and 5 euros you get to the center of Amsterdam. The airport is also famous for its library of 1,200 free books translated into 29 languages, which passengers can use. In addition, there is a casino, playgrounds and even a museum of modern art.
Marrakech Menara Airport, Morocco
Marrakech Manera is located three kilometers from the historic city and is one of the most beautiful in the world. It was built in 2008 using the ancient architectural traditions of Moroccan culture. The massiveness of diamond-shaped concrete blocks is softened by elegant windows with national lace ornaments, casting ornate shadows on all floors. There are 72 small photovoltaic pyramids on the roof that generate solar energy.
Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok
Bangkok Airport is one of the largest airports in Southwest Asia. It was built in 2006, and, like all of Thailand, Suvarnabhumi is the Thousand Smiles Airport. Since its opening, it has been actively developed and completed, having seven above-ground and two underground floors. You can move between them by elevators or escalators. More than 300 shops are concentrated here, 30 of which are Duty free shops. The terminals have free wi-fi internet, mother and child rooms, specialized smoking areas, and prayer rooms.
